Arts & Science College, Pulgaon established
by Mahila Vikas Sanstha, Wardha in the year 1994 is one of the premier
educational institutions in Deoli Tehsil, Dist. Wardha Vidarbha region
of Maharashtra. The institution is located in rural area with 2 acres of
lush green campus, imparting quality co-education in the faculties of
Arts, Science and Commerce. In fact, it is the only institution in Deoli
Tehsil providing higher education in Science stream. Ever since its
inception the College has made its imprint in imparting quality
education to the rural students. Today our College is catering varied
subjects in Arts, Science and Commerce Faculties.
It is a grant-in-aid institution affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukadoji
Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur. The College received permanent
affiliation, in the year 2003. The U.G.C. has accorded status of 2(f)
and 12 (b) to the college on 16/10/2002 and 28/03/2003 respectively.
The college volunteered itself to be assessed and accredited by NAAC,
Bangalore and the Peer Teem assessed our college from 20th to 22nd Dec,
2012 (Cycle-I) and accredited with 'B' Grade with CGPA 2.36 score.

Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) has been established in the
college on 28/02/2013 by the hands of Dr. Sudhir Patil,
Ex-Vice-Chancellor Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Dr. S. E. Pawar,
Scientist BARC, Mumbai and every activity is monitored through it.
Accordingly every activity is performed through action plan prepared by
IQAC at the beginning of every session and action taken report is
prepared. NAAC has been a guiding force for the present and future
programmes, functions and activities. As per the suggestions of the Peer
Team, the college has taken many measures to enhance the quality of
higher education. In order to improve the academic quality of the
institution, even in coming future, to know the strengths and weaknesses
for future improvements, the institution has decided to go for
reaccreditation in present year 2017-18.
